Taste of Cambridge and Crab Cook-Off

Join us for the 13th annual Taste of Cambridge Crab Cook-Off and free street festival, happening on the Second Saturday in July 2018. The event is a free access street festival along the 500 block of Poplar Street and the 400 block of Race Street, plus a ticketed tasting of delicious crab dishes prepared by local restaurants. Event begins at 5pm and ends at 10pm.

The Crab Cook-Off Competition portion of the event is ticketed and features up to 12 local restaurants competing to win your vote for best crab dishes in five categories. Tickets are on sale now through July 10th! Tickets day of available depending on availability. Cash and Credit Cards are accepted. A LIMITED number of tickets are available, and typically sell out!

Purchased tickets are redeemable the day of the event for your tasting ballot to try each delicious dish and vote for your favorite in each category including best crab dip, soup both cream of crab style and Maryland style, cake/ball, and specialty crab dish. Tasting begins at 5pm and ends at 8pm. Stick around for live music and dancing in the street with Arty Hill and the Long Gone Daddys!

The street festival features a crab picking competition, local musicians perform throughout the evening, and a dedicated kid’s zone with games, competitions, and crafts! Restaurants and street vendors serve a variety of food.
